SPCA Walk for the Animals

AAACERT members will provide traffic management and parking support for the SPCA’s Walk for the Animals fundraiser at Quiet Waters Park. The event runs from 9:00am to 12:00 noon. We  arrive by 7:00am and park in the White Oak Pavilion lot which is near the vendor village (adjacent to the main office). The first 30 minutes will be getting gear (vests/radios), final instructions, and safety briefing. Vendors start arriving at 7:30am and will continue to arrive as late as 9:00am. Then vendor village is closed off to vehicles. We will help to manage traffic in vendor village (entrance and exit), manage traffic and answer questions on the Park’s roadways, and assist with parking. At the end of the event, we will manage traffic leaving vendor village. AAACERT will have a booth in vendor village. We may also be asked to help with certain setup activities (setting out cones, setting up tables, helping with booths, etc.).
