Anne Arundel County and City of Annapolis

Community Emergency Response Team

WHAT IS AAACERT?

The Anne Arundel-Annapolis Community Emergency Response Team (AAACERT) is a nonprofit, all-volunteer organization dedicated to building a culture of preparedness in Anne Arundel County and the City of Annapolis. Our mission is to train community members in disaster mitigation, preparation, and response skills, empowering them to support their families and neighbors when professional first responders are not immediately available. By promoting the “Neighbors Helping Neighbors” philosophy, AAACERT aims to enhance public safety and community resilience through education, hands-on training, and active collaboration.
