AAACERT members were out in full force for Odenton Day 2025 at the Odenton Volunteer Fire Company, connecting with neighbors and sharing practical safety skills. Volunteers staffed a lively community outreach table, answering questions, handing out preparedness materials, and helping residents learn more about CERT’s role in local resilience.

Throughout the day, members led hands‑on demonstrations, including how to properly use a fire extinguisher and how to assist someone who is choking — skills that can make a life‑saving difference in an emergency. Kids and adults alike jumped in to practice, turning the event into a fun, interactive, and educational experience for the whole community.

Events like Odenton Day highlight what AAACERT does best: engaging, teaching, and empowering the public to be safer and more prepared.
